On October 13, 2020, a presentation was performed to showcase the ML2SL project. Unfortunately, due to project similarities with another project from another University the ML2SL project will no longer be a viable project for this Capstone project.
The team worked on discovering a new project that has not been done before by any person or University, and settled on a wireless electroencephalography (EEG) helmet which gives the wearer the ability to draw. The brainwave data from the wireless EEG helmet will be analyzed by using a machine learning algorithm, such that the wearer will be able to draw by solely using their mind.
THIS WEEK
Tyler
Researched and nearly finalized the materials and cost for the ML2SL project.
Worked on the new wireless EEG helmet proposal
Mark
Continued to review Machine Learning material

NEXT WEEK
Tyler
Work on new proposal and Gantt chart
Research hardware needed and the cost of each component to make an EEG helmet to send wireless brainwave data.
Mark
Work on the new proposal and Gantt chart
Continue to review Machine Learning textbook and work on the example code provided within the textbook.
